Refund & Cancellation Policy

We try to be reasonable. Below is exactly what's refundable, what's not, and what to do if you have a question we don't cover. Questions or edge cases — email hello@zonahaps.com and we'll work it out.

Business listing subscriptions (Featured $29/mo, Spotlight $99/mo, Verified $19/yr)

  • Cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal (link on your business dashboard). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • No prorated refunds for unused time in the current billing period — you keep your features through the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Annual plans: within the first 14 days, full refund on request. After 14 days, no refund but no further charges; the listing stays Featured until the annual term ends.
  • Founder Deal (90-day free Featured): no charge during the 90 days, no card on file. After 90 days, billing only starts if you opt in.

Event tickets (purchased through ZonaHaps)

  • The event organizer sets the refund policy — it's shown on the ticket page before you buy. We don't override it.
  • Payments go directly to the organizer's Stripe account. We process the transaction, but we don't hold the money. Refund requests go to the organizer.
  • If an event is cancelled outright, the organizer is expected to issue refunds. If they don't, contact us and we'll mediate — and Stripe chargeback protection still applies as a last resort.
  • Our 3% platform fee is non-refundable only if the ticket itself is successfully refunded after our work has been completed. If the organizer refunds via Stripe, the fee is reversed automatically.

Event Boost ($15 / 7 days)

Non-refundable once activated — the boost begins running immediately and serves impressions for the full 7 days. If we fail to deliver the promised placement for any reason on our end, we'll issue a credit toward a future boost.

Wedding venue listings ($99/yr)

Within 14 days of purchase: full refund on request, no questions. After 14 days: no refund, but the listing stays active for the full 12 months.

Newsletter sponsorships

Sponsorships are confirmed via signed proposal before payment. Refundable in full if cancelled at least 5 business days before the scheduled send date. After that, the slot is yours — if you don't use it, we'll roll it to a future send within 90 days, but no cash refund.

Shop merch (Printful)

  • Defects or wrong items: contact us within 30 days of receipt and we'll replace or refund. Photos help.
  • Sizing changes: we can't exchange print-on-demand items that arrive correctly. Please use the size chart before ordering.
  • Lost in shipping: we'll re-ship at no charge if the package shows undelivered after 14 days from ship date.

Chargebacks

We're a small business. Initiate a chargeback only after you've emailed us and given us a chance to resolve. Most disputes we can settle in a day. Going straight to your card issuer costs us $15 in fees even when we win, and we'd rather just refund you fairly.

How to request a refund

Email hello@zonahaps.com with:

  • The email used at checkout
  • The order or Stripe receipt ID (we can look it up if you don't have it)
  • What happened

We respond within 2 business days. Most legitimate refund requests are processed the same day.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers and reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
